Well, it’s an absolutely gorgeous day here in Prestonpans.
I’m sat in the visitors centre and cafe at Prestongrange Museum where I’ve got a great welcome and a lovely cuppa and Tunnocks. (www.prestongrange.org)
Earlier today I scoped out Port Seton Library (I now have no excuse for not finding it!) and took a walk in the countryside to Seton Collegiate Church – where I was mesmerised by the patterns from the coloured glass.
I’ve also been down to Seton Sands and, walking along the beach, headed back to Port Seton via the Promenade.
I’ve take a few photos – so I’ll post a montage later to tantalise you all further.
Hope you’re all getting geared up for Saturday… Have you got planned what camera gear you’re bringing? Been over to 3 Harbours website to check out the event brochure and work out what you must see?
I’ve also found out there’ll be Battle of Prestonpans related activities at the weekend – see www.battleofprestonpans1745.org for more.
